Hi, I have a new PC from 2 days with Intel i9 7940X, Asus NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti and Asus PRIME X299-DELUXE. Every time I turn on my PC when the desktop appears a panel appears too. It is "Intel Turbo Boost Max Tecnology 3.0". Why every time I see that panel? Does it have a function? Every time I have to close it manually. I attach a pic. Can you give me some news please? Thanks

You can remove this application or simply disable the service from startup. Then go into the UEFI and change MFC Override to OS Native Support from underneath the CPU Power Management menu.

Hi, I thank you for your reply. I'd like to ask some other questions please:
1) Is it important to go into the BIOS and to change MFC Override to OS Native Support from underneath the CPU Power Management menu? If it is important I will do it.

2) I make UHD videoediting with i9 7940X and Edius 9. I thought to fly with i9 7940X CPU but I'm noticing only a little improvement compared to my old CPU. It was 5 years old. Sometimes I'm thinking if BIOS isn't configured fine. But I'm making a mistake. I attach only some pics of my Asus PRIME X299-DELUXE BIOS:
