I have a pg279q and I've noticed that on white backrounds/webpages, the top 1/3 of the screen will be slightly dimmer than the rest of the screen? Is this an issue with the monitor? I got a refurb from Newegg.

can you provide a screenshot of some kind, so people can see your issue?

EDIT: I am pretty sure they use 120 cd/m2 for calibration at tftcentral, so a drop to 93 and you would notice the difference.
