    8700K clocks like 8600K on Prime Z370-A

    Sorry for my bad english!

    I´ve got a weird problem with my 8700K on a Prime Z370-A.

    I had an MSI Tomahawk first, there the 8700K clocked absolutely normal. 1C: 4.7GHz 2C: 4.6GHz 3C: 4.5GHz 4-5C: 4.4GHz 6C: 4.3GHz, Intels default turbo clocks.
The MSI Board crashed (short circuit) and so i bought the Prime Z370-A.

Here is the problem: The 8700K clocks only with 4100 MHz under full load all cores (default Asus Bios-Settings), instead of 4300 MHz, which it clocked on the MSI-Board without any problems.
So i installed Intels Extrem Tuning Utility (xtu) which shows following turbo clocks as default: 1C: 4.3GHz 2-4C: 4.2GHz 5-6C: 4.1GHz (see screenshot)
These are exactly the clocks of the 8600K, i don´t really understand this behaviour.

Even if i enable MCE, nothing happens, except the Vcore, it lowers, lower than without MCE. I also cannot understand this!

    Any ideas?

I can manually set the boost clocks of the 8700K in the Intel tool, works fine, Vcore and temps are ok, i just started underclocking. But i want to understand why the default clocks aren´t right!
