What happens exactly??? It won't flash???
U got to use a pendrive with fat32 file system and rename the file to R6A.CAP (the downloaded file can be flashed directly since it comes with that name).Omega, 10980xe, G.Skill 3600, 2080Ti, SM951 256, 970 PRO, 860 EVO

By disabling the spectre patch (in the registry), I have better results with Crystal Disk Mark

I installed the microcode and tested with 1102. It is a little better than the older microcode that fixed the SPECTRE issue but instead of losing 25% speed on my m.2 drives (900p and 2xSM961s in RAID 0) it is now about 18%. Still lost about 3-4% in Cinebench.

Try this new file:
https://mega.nz/#!F6pXjBzA!T5gIp7BB-...GZeFpWhJJcEX7s
Remember to use a pendrive formatted in fat32 and in good condition. Download the rar file from MEGA, extract it and after extraction, let the bios name untouched (it comes perfect to be used with flashback in your mobo), copy the file to the formatted fat32 pendrive, plug it in the specific usb port for flashback, turn off the pc and press the flashback button to flash the mod bios, as manual states.
In regards to performance loss, I prefer to be protected in spite of a little bit less speed.Last edited by vmanuelgm; 03-08-2018 at 12:02 PM.

Out of curiosity how are you guys getting a successful bios patch? I've tired a few manual methods along with various UBU versions and anything I flashback results in a non-bootable system that I can restore by using flashback with stock 1102. The same methods work on older platforms, but I can't seem to get it right for my workstation. I really wish ASUS wasn't so slow on pushing mCode since the 2A mCode causes issues with virtualization under certain conditions, but I need to have my workstation as patched as possible for work so it's what I'm stuck with until either ASUS releases a bios with 43 or I can patch 1102. Unfortunately I have an X299 TUF MK1 so I can't give the already patched bios files you guys have posted a shot.
