Mine has 2 screws on the.mainboard side, and 3 on the screen cover. I pry the LCD cover open with a creditcard to get to the latter, and unscrew all visible ones on the bottom cover. This is the first computer I have accidentally damaged after 30 years as an IT tech..... And it seem that hinges are only available from Asus partners for.my model....I also broke the digitizer panel, but got a new one from China...Good luck!
My hinge is somewhat broken

The one on the left doesn't "support" itself so the top panel just falls down. Also when it's open at 90 degrees, the left side of the screen kind of dips in a weird way.
I'm going to remove the keyboard panel and see if I can do anything about it but I don't have much hope. I see replacement hinges available here:
http://www.asusparts.eu/partfinder/Asus/Notebook/U%20Series/UX360CA/Hinge#Hinge
So I may try and replace it myself (Asus Customer service wanted $510 to fix it... ridiculous, the laptop itself only cost 50 more than that!). But I haven't found any videos of a hinge replacement for this laptop so I'm not sure if it's really possible. Has anyone done something like that?
I see people doing similar things on other zenbooks on youtube, but not this particular model

In any case, the hinge is accessible after popping the screen assembly off the outer shell.

Hi,
Can you clarify what you mean by "outer shell", do you mean all I need to do to access the hinge screws is to prise off the rear metal cover from the screen?
Are there any screws under those 2 rubber bumpers below the display?
Thanks.
