G75VW shuts off while gaming

Hello,
My G75VW is around 4 years old and I've been quite happy with it, until recently, when it starts shutting off (not BSOD, power cutting) out of blue when gaming for a short amount of time (nothing was wrong with the performance).
I had sent it to the repairing service after having it's inside cleaned once, and they only said the problem stopped occurring when doing tests with another HDD and nothing else.
So I tried formatting my HDD and reinstalled the windows, but the problem still persisted.

Can someone enlighten me with a solution?

If it works properly with other HDDs, I guess your HDD is corrupted and needs to be changed.

Thanks for the reply.
They didn't exactly tell me my HDD is corrupted.
Also the problem only occurs when the laptop runs medium-heavy 3D games, it works fine outside of that so I'm doubting its the HDD.
