It's very easy to do, but that's hard to explain...
You originally chose the wrong method of inserting a modified BIOS. AMI AFU with a key /GAN updates everything, but you only had to update the only BIOS region.
To restore the poppy address, you need to modify the GBE, after which it must be flashed with the help of Intel Flash Programming Tool.
Specify the desired poppy address, I'll prepare you a one-click restore.
It's unfortunate that Asus restricts users for modifications, why not make for all motherboards USB BIOS Flashback. or do not need to block bios regions!
The MSI, for example, does not apply blocking of bios regions. even a built-in flasher(M-FLASH) allows to flash a modified BIOS, and it deserves respect!Last edited by jjxakergm; 03-05-2018 at 08:11 PM.

Intel eeupdate works in DOS mode with my z370-A to enter back own MAC address. I tested with the i219 version i found at an official ASRock page, not ASUS.
Edit:
https://www.asrock.com/support/download/mactool.asp
You only need the Eeupdate.exe and the MAC.bat entered with the MAC of your choice. For me the Int219 version works out of 2.07A.Last edited by pokuly; 03-06-2018 at 03:33 PM.
