PRIME Z370-P and last bios

So, I have bought a month ago a PRIME Z370-P and I see that last bios on website it is 0610, so my question it is , it have that anti-Spectre & co in it, I will have a decrease in performance if I will update the bios? Also my settings from bios will be kept, or reseted when update the bios?

A quick look into your 0610 ROM shows it is the old 6E microcode without Spectre fix.
I am pretty sure the settings will be gone and can't be restored from a backup file of the older version.
