Can I re-partition the ROG drivers flash drive?
Hey guys, as the title says, would it be possible to repartition the ROG drivers USB drive in order to have more space for newer drivers?
I've tried several softwares but nothing worked so far.
Thanks in advance!

I never knew about ROG drivers on USB sticks, lol, cool idea!
My advice is to backup the contents onto a local drive before changing anything around on the OEM-supplied USB drive partition/format/etc. Just copy all the files into a C:\SETUP directory or something, better yet, clone the whole USB drive so you can always create another when needed.
You can usually download the most critical ROG drivers from the ASUS sites. But not always. Plus it's good to archive copies of the specific driver versions (and other ROG software) that you *know* will work with your WinOS version as a rollback option in case (if/when) ASUS or Microsoft ever decides to change things around to break something that already works."All opinions are not equal. It is basically a flash drive. You can go into diskpart and do a CLEAN on it with no issues and re-partition it however you want.

You can but I wouldn't recommend it. I found out that my flash drive had certain drivers / software that I couldn't easily download off the internet. So if the trade off is worth it for you then go for it.

For my recommendation. I can recommend that either. You see. some drivers need the windows update in order to work properly. UNLESS you build one as a deployment, using a fresh 100% updated windows 10. if that is the case, please do. and BTW that is a cool idea. share how that work since I can make one for emergency's if I need to reinstall all. I did on Friday and my computer is snappy than ever. I have my windows and there is a file called drivers. I try to make some type of deployment but fail. I think I need something else.

My ROG RAMPAGE V Edition 10 mb came with this ROG USB drive. It appears to be an 8GB USB drive that has a 5.5GB CDFS partition and a 2GB FAT32 partition.
I would also like convert it into an 8GB ROG USB drive. Nothing I have tried has been able to crack the CDFS partition and clean out the files.
The drive is not locked and Diskpart cannot detect the CDFS partition but sees it as a CDFS Volume.

@MENINBLK
WinOS (and DISKPART) are limited, you'll have to use other software.

None of those will actually work on the flash drive. They use a special partition in the first part. The second part is normal and can be deleted, formatted or changed. I have a few and while only a handful sees the first part and most of the time that is like a CDROM patrician it can't be changed for me. I have been trying to do this with the few I have had for along time and nothing works. I do hope someone finds something out new though.
