8700K high temps in 1 game on Asus Z370 Pro Gaming with MCE.

Hello. I have an question. In all of my games my 8700K got temps like 70-85C max. But playing Assassins Creed Origins ,on Alexandria city temps are balancing between 90C to spikes 100C on 1 core. There is no throttling. And my question is can i still play or stop it?

My 8700K is with semi size cooler Cryorig M9i.

Asus Z370 Pro Gaming. MCE is automatically ON with applied XMP profile.

So clock is high 4700mhz. And voltage is high 1.4V on load. I checked on cpuz.

So for me its because voltage is too high due to Multicore Enhacement and thats why i have that high temps on AC:Origins.

Thanks for opinion. Can somebody tell me if it safe to play with that temps or just change something?

Your options are

1) Manually tune the system to reduce the voltage applied.

2) Disable MCE and revert to stock

3) Upgrade or check your current cooling solution is adequate

Those temps are quite high for games alone. Assassins Creed Origins is proving more noticeable as the game is fairly CPU intensive, as well as the DRM solution putting a load on some cores.

Only Origins making that cpu so hot. Temps are balancing between 90 to spikes in 1 core 100C. So its not safe to play with that temps?
I dont have throttling or any shutdowns.

If this is not safe...
Can you tell me how to turn MCE in UEFI?
I really afraid to mess in uefi , i dont have good knowledge.

You'll find it under the AI Tweaker Menu, near the top. That is too hot for prolonged gaming periods, yes. Your cooler is only rated for 120W. The 8700K is a 95W TDP part out of the box.
