Yeah I won't be buying Asus again tbh, this whole software fiasco has really made me doubt this companies ability to listen to it's customers (Employers) and fix or even bring out working/functional/installable software for their hardware. I think it's Gigabyte next for me.

Just purchased my first addressable RGB strip, 5v, 1 meter, 60 LED. Only the first LED will light up, and only when attached to ADD header 2 on my X Code board. The LED won't respond to on/off or change color. Thoughts?

Did you ever get the addressable strip to work correctly? Does the add strip show up in Aura?

Just download Revo Uninstaller, it will take everything out. Then it will ask you to scan for leftover bits of Aura. Make sure you select all then hit delete. Aura Uninstaller works but it will leave alot behind. Revo works awesome.

I wanted to install the newest version of Aura Sync but I can't seem to uninstall the old version. It keeps saying 'a critical error' has occurred and then it stops the uninstall. Any ideas on how to remove it? Thanks.

From Asus support while I was inquiring yet again for the 8th time on them correcting the 3d print file for the I/O cover on the Z270G or just sending me a cover from a Z270E or F and I'll mod it myself and remove the mounting tabs below.

"We are aware of this issue and our team are currently working to resolve the compatibility problem in the shortest time frame possible." Regarding Aura software.

They claim it's a problem with the newest version of Windows. Maybe if they rewrite it to where it's not so dependent on how windows runs or it's version then they would stop having problems every time a windows update is put out. Sigh. I think it's time to jump ship next upgrade and shop around with another mobo manufacturer.

The Aura cleaner program opens for a split second then just closes. I don't even get a chance to see what it says. Is that normal or should a window actually open for me to click something?

I noticed that also. I just use Revo Uninstaller as it will take out everything and then run a scan to see if there is anything left over. Aura Cleaner leaves a bunch of stuff behind. Until Asus can revamp the Aura software there is no fix for all the issue iv had and have been reading JMO.

My Hyper X Predator RGB have problem sync with other component only effect it can sync is Static and Breathing other than that it will return to it default ligthing make it only 1 component that not sync with other RGB component in my PC.
