Oh... aura is capricious software but not broken: all function is working perfectly on last version aura on my computer. You must remember just one rule: if you update aura you must remove all old components of aura.
I think, aura have just two problem:
1) High CPU usage (6-7% for starry night for example is awful, I have already written about this).
2) If you have more than 1 aura terminal you can not decide which terminals are sync to MB or not. It's not good, because one terminal can be used in halo and another can be just extra ARGB header in case. I think, we all want more flexibility.

Spent another two hours on it with 2 brand new macines and 2 Asus RGB lighs with the node and nothing works. I tried but it is the last straw. Going to consair and with the kits and exta cables, Asus loses 1-2k worth of money now. All I can do. Asus Aura does NOT work propler.

I did a fresh install of Win10 1903.

When the Armoury Crate install popped up on the first boot I decided to install it.

I am shocked......




No other Asus apps are installed, just Armoury Crate!

GOT IT. and works. there are some updates that maybe still pending. check the SDK 1.01.07 and Hal 201907011

You know. I can make a clean install so i can test the app. maybe cause i have other apps isntall as well

I HOPE asus keep updating the app, the driver section still unchange and does not read the server

I will test a clean install for the fun of it i Will righ back

ufff. i see fan and pump control on the 360 aio. I need those updates o i i have to make a clean ins tall so the SDK and HALL are isntall.

The ryujin is in but have a XML error that say that i have restart.

I make a clean install.
1903 all update. crate install main drivers But nothing is here.

Aside the same issues as before my hack, as same issues as my friend on the codexi. it sync. but that is as far i have. No other apps are install.

Have you tried disabling "Secure Boot" in the BIOS? I found that with it enabled my HyperX NGENUITY could not access my ram to control the RGB.

Worth a try.

Sadly this is not the case for everyone. The fact that you are able to get it working, consider yourself lucky. I just tested this again with a clean install, nothing else but motherboard drivers loaded up. Loaded Aura sync versions 1.7 to latest 1.7.66, each one off a fresh install. Not one would open the software and run it properly. Just to play with it I tried 3 different versions of BIOS and a no go. Last working version I had of Aura Sync was 1.6.(something). Every one of the 1.7s just crap out. In the end if I want any lighting I gotta go back to Aura 1.4 or 1.5 and then it works, turns on the lights but I'm not able to set anything other than the default settings. Pretty much a waste. I have no doubts that Aura Sync probably works very well with newer motherboards/laptops. Perhaps If I had the Rampage Extreme Omega rather than my Rampage Extreme VI it would work better? Ah well, moving to another lighting solution.
