    cooling issue

    here is some basics

    i5 2500k
    asus p8z68 deluxe/gen3
Intel Liquid Cooling Solution RTS2011LC Liquid cooling system
    Raidmax blade case

and im having issues with temp not staying low as it should

Im new to computers, i just want it to stay cool as it suppose to because i tossed the extra cash in order for it to do its job

temps are going up to 57 c while max load and on idle on 40c(not overclocked)
and i find that weird because the stock heatsink does that?

ive read it that this cooler is suppose to keep it cooled down to 30c and 41 max load(with the extreme series cpus and the
    i7 2600k reviews)

I used the the thermal paste that came with the cooler i bought? if that might be the reason why its not doing what its suppose to. I have the the cooler set up chassis/fan/radiator/fan

I just want some advice in order for it to live up to the price. Or should i just replace intel liquid cooler with the h80?

Can you confirm that the fan is spinning?

And please check that the mounting is secure.

If both are yes, then I would suggest a remount as possibly you used too much thermal paste.

    Best fan?

Hello I have the Sabertooth 990FX mobo and right now I have a Phenom II x4 965 but I'll be uprading that soon. What would be the best air fan I could get? I had the Thermaltake Frio and it ran cool when I had an i7 920 but the mobo I had was msi and the north bridge overheated. I decided to switch completely to amd since my friend gave me that Phenom and I don't have the other bracket to switch it to amd :/. Also I'm wanting to overclock some too. Any suggestions? Ty in advance :]

Have a look at any e-retailers site. There are 100's of suitable fans. Find one that matches your budget and the CFM requirements of your cooler. As to which one is best - there is no such thing, each persons needs are unique and therefore so is the solution.

The CM hyper 212+ is a good cooler but it depends how much you want to OC. You might need to go with something like an H70 or H100 if you have more demanding requirements. As was already said, you really need to consider your complete set of requirements since there is no one size fits all HSF.

I think a better question would be where is the computer located? Is it under a desk? Is it cramped into a tight space where no fresh air can be supplied into the case by the fans? Is the temperature in the where the computer is get hot while the computer is running?
