Confirming this takes the max boost clock to 4.625 GHz. Thanks for this.

Same drill as C7H UEFIs to flash. As I hadn't downed the 0002 versions for C6H, C6HWIFI & C6E, before links went down from high traffic, I could only do "official" 7403 for C6H, C6H WIFI & C6E.

thanks a lot. you can hit me up if you need the 0002 for the c6h

one guy from our ram-oc discord used ur 7403mod with a 3800x

cinebench scores stay around the same though. let the testing begin!

    Flashed perfectly thanks!

So far from minimal testing I am getting spikes of 4150 and rarely 4200. In games it is around 4100 but think it will be more like 4125 when this hot weather passes. It is still some ways off 4.2Ghz but it is an improvement nonetheless. PBO and AutoOC still don't work and actually lower boosting but we can't have it all! Cinebench score seemed the same as before

    Thanks again!

simple question, am I not seeing AMD CBS options because I'm using a x470 (crosshair vii hero) with a ryzen gen 1 (1700x) or are they indeed missing from the 2703 bios? I mean, I do have a perfectly functional, stable, cool 'n quiet (^^), p-State OC that i'm carrying from an old saved profile but if I wanted or needed to tweak something there that would be outright impossible, unless if I downgraded to a pre 1.0.0.0 agesa -- which doesn't sound like a compelling proposition.

2703 is current "Official" and 0002 is one with ASUS WMI possibly fixed.

PBO+150MHz set on my R5 3600 on UEFI 2501, 2703 and modded 0002, can be seen in WMVs in this ZIP.

    Disclaimer

Download & use UEFIs at your own risk, I experienced no adverse effects so far, but only limited testing done on one configuration.

I am just a user sharing my modded UEFI, I am not qualified and or employed in the field of computing.

    Download link for mod UEFIs.

Use flashback method of flashing UEFI.

    i) Change UEFI filename as C7H.CAP or C7HWIFI.CAP depending on your model.

ii) Copy to USB stick, it must be formatted to FAT32. File must not be in a directory.

iii) Load UEFI defaults prior to doing flashback and let mobo repost and shutdown.

iv) Make sure USB stick is in Flashback port (ie one which has marking BIOS)

    v) Press and hold the Flashback button (blue box, above image) ~5secs. Blue LED on the button will flash slow for a few seconds and quicken as it starts update process. At the end of process it will extinguish, you are ready to boot up. If the blue LED stays constant the UEFI file was not found on USB stick, so check USB stick is correct format and filename is correct.
Thank you much it is working great! About 70'C with Cinebench R20 multi, drops down to 64' with -0.08750 offset. Thanks to all involved! This is with 0002

With PBO OC you should see gains on UEFI with SMU FW 46.34.00.

Manual ratio/Pstate 0 OC should have same performance as unmodified UEFI.

At stock, if your CPU sample, due to it's unique characteristics, when profiled by SMU was seeing lowered boost behaviour on average MHz then you should see gain on modified UEFI IMO.

Do you have C6HWIFI? gained C6H UEFI 0002 from bloot's link, modded it and updated ZIP is now in post 112.

    Thanks for feedback.

From all your shares before and now to me it seems perhaps your CPU sample is not decent to see gains on PBO OC, it could also be the load cases your using, just gonna do a separte post in my stating some of my experience on UEFI 0002+ with R5 3600 / C7HWIFI / F4-3200C14Q-32GVK.

If your IMC is decent I'd probably not bother trying another CPU sample. If you are inclined to and can off load the CPU with minimal loss, then perhaps have another roll of the silicon dice.

Should be there IMO, official and mod UEFI, I don't have a 1xxx CPU to hand to try.

    Moar Matisse ...

So finally have PBO+150MHz working on an AGESA 1.0.0.3AB/ABB UEFI with a frequency gain >4.275GHz , gotta say big thanks to The Stilt for his guidance .

This imgur album contains UEFI 0002 CPU stock, RAM 3800MHz 4x8GB.

This imgur album contains UEFI 0002+ CPU PBO+150MHz, 105W parameters for PBO, scalar 5x, RAM 3800MHz 4x8GB.

This imgur album contains some past testing with UEFI 2406/0068/2501, beginning is stock CPU/RAM, rest is PBO+150MHz 3800MHz 2x8GB.

Depending on silicon characteristics and how the SMU profiles CPU, room ambient affecting CPU temp and load used on CPU, PBO+xxxMHz can and will have differing frequencies. IMO you should always see some to all cores peak to the max of setup. Multiple/all cores frequency is where you will see most difference.

About 1632/195 points in CBR15 (link) is usual for my CPU sample at stock. 1676/204 points in CBR15 (link) is about best case for PBO+150MHz, usual is somewhere around ~1660 on multi and single never seems to shift at all from 204.

UEFI 0002 without SMU FW mod and CPU stock, RAM 3800MHz 4x8GB, results in ~1651/198 points in CBR15 (link), this is not shabby IMO and to be honest for CPU stock is a nice run in my experience with my CPU. As PBO+150MHz on unmodified AGESA 1.0.0.3AB/ABB UEFI didn't go past 4.275GHz when loaded with Kahru RAM test I never took any benches of it.

UEFI 0002+ PBO+150MHz, 105W parameters for PBO, scalar 5x, RAM 3800MHz 4x8GB, gets ~1661/204 points in CBR15 (link). Not the best on multi I've experienced, but not the worst, about average IMO.

PState 0 OC set to 4.325GHz yields ~1714/203 points in CBR15 (link), clearly PBO+150MHz does not give the performance of manual OC for this test case.

Stock CPU & RAM in CBR20 is ~3726/487 points (link), again UEFI 0002 shows a slight lead (CPU stock, RAM OC), ~3767/489 points (link), UEFI 0002+ with PBO+150MHz RAM 3800MHz yields ~3809/506 points (link), which is within a run variance of an AEGSA 1.0.0.2 UEFI (link).

Stock CPU & RAM in CPU-Z is ~518/4135 (link), again UEFI 0002 shows a slight lead (CPU stock, RAM OC) ~518/4208 (link), UEFI 0002+ with PBO+150MHz RAM 3800MHz yields ~533/4257 (link), which is within a run variance of an AGESA 1.0.0.2 UEFI (link).

Ever so slightly the increase clocks of PBO+150MHz do seem to affect RAM latency and I believe cache on 3xxx runs at CPU MHz as it did on 1xxx/2xxx, UEFI 0002 (stock CPU, RAM OC) (link), UEFI 0002+ with PBO+150MHz 3800MHz (link), which is within run variance of an AGESA 1.0.0.2 UEFI (link).

Due to meddling with RAM the most on Matisse, Kahru RAM Test is something I have ran a lot since building this setup. I do believe an actual UEFI with AGESA 1.0.0.2 SMU FW 46.34.00 has better average CPU frequency than UEFI with AGESA 1.0.0.3ABB SMU FW 46.34.00, but perhaps the difference is the "nature of the beast" of boosting. What I know for certain is without the SMU FW mod, UEFI using AGESA 1.0.0.3AB/ABB does not give me average all cores boost of ~4.3GHz at all. Recent PBO compare of UEFI 2501/2703/0002+ (link) and another rerun this morning of 0002+ (link).
