    Asus X99 Deluxe, new BETA BIOS is out!

    As title.

    why a beta bios and not a stable one?
    does it contains the spectre fix?

    I really wonder what it is, if its spectre fix i would wait tbh cos there been issues with the fix, i would rather have a stable fix, its a bit odd it does't show whats changed.

    I decided to update anyway cos i know earliest spectre fix had huge issues which intel pulled, and yes contains spectre fix

    This vision could be stable but aint verified stable yet probably.
    Anyway i am on non deluxe board x99-a if rolled back bios before so far no issues but its to early to say if bios is stable.

    Using it since the release. Yes it's stable.
    An official announcement some weeks ago stated that they used the beta word just because those motherboards are out of warranty and they don't wants to manage rmas for people who don't know how to update a bios.
    So this is a stable bios. Install it without problems

    Had some system freezes lately no idea if its related to bios got a feeling it is.

    I consulted with ASUS support and they told me that they were not the same BIOS
