Samsung Releases NEW NVMe Driver 3.0

It looks as though our friends as Samsung have put out a new driver for the Microsoft April Creators Windows 10 Update. It is driver 3.0.1803 that obviously is the driver to go with Windows version 1803.

I think I will wait on this one to see how it works for people. If anyone wants to try it please let us know how it works. TIA

i have 970 evo does this also suport it ?and why wait because the other one was bad

because i came from 951 nvme and no driver was needed just intressted why the wait

Samsung always seems to have problems with new drivers and firmware. I am going to wait and let others test this new driver before upgrading.

I too ran into Samsung's daily limit of downloads for NVMe driver vers 3.0. I imagine they want to limit the damage in case there are problems reported from early adopters.

True. You are probably better off waiting a few days to let others test it, anyway. If there are problems we will definitely hear about it.
