Asus G73SW's backlit keyboard doesn't work, nor does the FN+F3- & F4 hotkeys

Title explains it.
Things I have tried:
I bought a new replacement keyboard
I Sent it in for repair (replaced MotherBoard and Graphics Card)
Repair and Reinstalling ATK Packages







PS
Asus makes the worst computers
Best Buy has the worst customer service and will not replace.

There is a specific fix for G73 systems that have keyboard backlight failure after a BIOS flash. See http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/513264-keyboard-light-fix-gary-key.html

Try googling "G73 keyboard backlight fix" and checking the links in your hits. Maybe one of them will be good. Chastity@ASUS also mentioned not long ago on NBR that the links would be updated in the near future when the off site hosting was worked out.
