I previously used to be able to use the G-Sync button on the monitor to adjust the refresh rate. With Win10 1803 I can no longer do that, the button on the monitor does nothing....Why is that? How can I fix this?

The issue is not Nvidia drivers it is Microsoft's new WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model) version 2.4, which is brand new in 1803 and only available with Nvidia drivers 397.xx and newer. This is not something Nvidia can fix. This is Microsoft breaking our monitors, as well as many other gaming aspects like g-sync in true exclusive fullscreen etc. I strongly advise everyone report feedback to Microsoft and file complaints in every avenue you can find to help get this the attention it deserves.

I've used the Feedback Hub in Win10 to file tickets about this issue. Thanks!
