you can select white on the website as part of the add for selling the MB's.. but it's not possible in the actual software. Come on ASUS.. this is pretty poor.
'personally.. looks like false advertising to me.

what Asus "says" Aura does...

what Aura ACTUALLY does... which is not the same as advertised...

Select the dot in the triangle and slide it to white? Post your version if you still can't figure it out. What effect are your trying to use?

I have a circle, not a triangle.. no way to create white.

I have tried 255,255, 255 as well, doesn't work

using most recent version.

white is 255/255/255 these work on static and breathing (on single and by areas) NOTE sometimes you have to force the color. meaning that you select another and come back again to white that yuou input that manually on RGB values and apply.

not exactly.. I'm in aura, trying to set MB, LED Strips and Halo Luxes to white.. prefer static, but would try anything at this point. even trying 255,255,255 doesn't work. the newest version is nothing like what they post on the website in the about product. it's a color circle, with no option to choose manual colors. it's poorly done. prob should delete aura and us CableMods Kit. just bypass the mb.

what the site SAYS it does...

what it ACTUALLY does.. which is not the same as above.

Aome seem to work, some don''t. I can type in 255,255,255 on static and apply and it works. I try that in pulse and as soon as I hit apply, it turns to red.

I can replicate this both with my motherboard's RGB and graphics card's RGB (a Strix), it always ends up being purple except for my light strip that will show a harsh very slightly red/yellow white glow, but that's an RGB light strip after all

I'm assuming that ASUS AURA has steadily improved since its introduction (circa 2014) and that it keeps being improved on new ASUS products. Each new iteration is incrementally better than before in some way.

So I'm guessing that MAXIMUS IX motherboard - omg, a whole year "old" now! - just lacks some of the refinements built into newer ASUS hardware/software?
