Heya

Pc was working without any problems, yesterday after I came back from work I turned the pc on and it didn't boot and showed q code error 00

Maximus viii z170 gene
16gb corsair ddr4 3200
Gigabyte 1080 gaming
Antec platinum 900w
I7 7700k

Flashing bios can sometimes get me to post, or even windows but it will freeze shortly after.with error a2 or a9, if I reset or clear cmos after that I only get 00 unless I flash again.

I don't always get it to boot after flashing, sometimes it hangs up at error 14, 19, 32, 7f. There is a few more that I don't remember.

I think I tried everything I found on Google.

Don't know why I need to flash bios to get other errors maybe it has nothing to do but it seems to be doing something

Edit: disconected front usb 3.0, 2.0 and hd audio and its working again. Stress testing right now. Gonna update tomorrow if it crashes again
edit2: it lasted 3 hours at it froze again.

Hi,

1) Remove the CPU whilst checking for any bent pins within the socket.

2) Reseat the CPU and check for even mounting pressure.

3) Reseat all memory modules.

After flashing/clearing the UEFI, are you enabling XMP?
