ASUS Z370 Prime - no adaptive voltage and offset mode not lowering vcore

Hi,

I am having a hard time getting offset mode to work on my Z370 Prime Mainboard and a i7 8700K CPU. I have an offset set to 0.3 to achieve a 1.35V core voltage when overclocking to 5Ghz. Even though the CPU clocks down to 800Mhz the voltage still sits at 1.35V. Anyway I would like to use adaptive voltage instead of offset mode but the board gives me no option. Can you confirm that the Z370 Prime has no adaptive mode? And if yes, why does the offset mode not work as it should. Thanks in advance!

Make sure SVID is enabled within the UEFI.

thanks, that was it!

Another question:

If I use normal offset mode I need to use a negative offset of 0.1V to reach ~1.35V under load with LLC set to 6. Under AVX Load it shoots to 1.44 and also the idle voltage doesn't go below 1.12V. Can you explain why that happens? In idle the CPU stays rather warm. Why are no lower volts applied when the cpu sits at 800Mhz? Thanks!
