EKWB XRES D5 Revo 100 Glass is AMAZING
I expected to be cool, but when you unbox him you see how beatufill is Glass version.
Really bad I expect after launch date more people will continue to choose Glass.
I couldn't resist he is only reason because I didn't bought EKWB Kit.
Maybe people love more RGB version, but Glass have 3 ports on top.
One could serve as Inlet port, second as fill port and from 3 port you could make RGB reservoir with one G 1/4 RGB Plug, Barrow made them.
And you have RGB version. Barrow Quartz RGB is one small plug with RGB LED diode inside and because top is black you will see only how he shine in reservoir in color you want. I'm not sure maybe even work with ASUS Aura.
Do you remember before XTops have small traces of production on surface, this have nothing.
He is really more than I expect, 100 version look bigger in live than on picture and for mid cases I'm not sure you need 140.

They certainly look good. I opted for an acrylic pump combo for my Formula build, as it's tucked neatly in the rear compartment of the midi tower.

I was interested in this for my build, but I just couldn't get over how odd the complete unit looks. I think it's how the sealing cap is as wide as lower housing for pump and tube is too narrow in diameter IMO. Perhaps if the tube was wider, leading to less of a lip on cap/lower housing it would look right to me. So as visually the XRES acrylic versions looked better in this aspect I went that route, just a shame the sealing cap lacks the options the glass version does have.

Maybe you get wrong impression from picture. You used on small top cap on XRES Acrylic version.
On this version top cap and bottom part are same diametar. Top is not wider.
And give you advantage if you want top fill port or example RGB Plug. And these G 1/4 plug with allen key are nicest for me of all.
I didn't notice they sell them I would bought 3-4 of them.
Bigest advantage is because no acrylic part inside and no vortex.
This type is much heavier more massive, it's pretty thick borosilicat aka pyrex glass.
This was from testing, option for top inlet port is very important to me even if I don't use.
But if you use bottom port even on 100% speed no Vortex inside at all and you don't hear liquid.

This and Heatkiller Tube 100 D5 are nicest combination.
Only Heatikiller you need to look on body of D5 and that's not good image.
On Revo D5 version body is hidden with mounting mechanism.

This is original plan how should be installed.
I bought and aluminium feets for PC-O11 WXC and that will give me few cm more space between radiator and floor, any way bootom of case is 3cm or more above surface.
I like small combos, 80-100ml Max. Swiftech X50 is nice as well.
And I have space for one more radiator 360mm on top.
I can invest that immediately because it's not only radiator price, I like these Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM and I found 3 of them for price of 2.
And 3 more would be significant investment, plus I want Nemesis GTR 360 radiator if 8cm could fit between top and motherboard part.
Acrylic version will never be my reservoir, any option and new combos if I see acrylic, immediately gone, plus EKWB have big Vortex part inside.
Glass is much cooler, special strong pyrex glass, and easier to clean, no scraches, you can literary to clean him with detergent for windows, like you wasg glass.
Big plus is because no thread on glass at all. Together keep him rubber on bootom and part and thread on inner pipe from stainless steel.

I can't deal with that... cost too much for me and i never cut glass pipes. First I was for idea to to install quick disconnect on CPU and GPU and than I gave up because they are too big.
I don't like that new style somehow, I'm more for old fashioned, once I look guy who made hard tubing, and I tried one pipe... hard was to estimate angle and I think it's bigger chance to leak.
Hard tubing, colorful RGB... I don't know.
But reservoir need to be glass and not big tube, case panel glass, case aluminium, that's necessary.
