Ryzen 3 1300x to Ryzen 5 2600/2600x
Quick question, will I notice the difference when upgrading from 1300x to 2600/2600x? I don’t do video editing, just gaming at 1080p with 1060 6GB and browsing the net. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

Im about to do the same thing and have the same video card. I would think it depends on the game and if the game is more GPU or CPU dependent. Some games that are GPU dependent do fine but some are absolutely pushed to the limit and even maxed with the 1300X. Keep an eye on the numbers of each using task manager and you will see that some games will see a difference with the 2600/2600X. Some games are not playable with a 1300X.

I imagine you will see some difference. Ive upgraded from the Ryzen 7 1700 @3.8Ghz to the Ryzen 7 2700x @ 4.3Ghz and on average have seen a frame rate increase of between 10 - 19fps on most games and when running Firestrike on 3D mark have noticed a significant score increase on a consistent basis and on both CPU's I was using the same GPU 1080ti oc edition. if you need any advice or screenshots with results etc.. just let me know.
