can any one please help me here. I've just upgraded my bios to the current version of 1301 and now, my nvme drive is running much slower...

I have the asus maximus ix hero with i7 7700k and trident gskill rgb at 3200 Mhz

main drive is nvme 500gig then 2 ocz agility 3 sata ssd and one 1TB physical drive

originally I had reads of 3415 and writes of 2014

now I'm way down to read 2848 and write 1818

I am running xmp profile on the ram.

so in short, can any one help me with the proper cmos configurations, in order to get peak performance out of my new drive.

oh yes, and I am running the Samsung NVME controller

Thanks a bunchh

Yes, I do have all the new drivers, it's just when I updated my bios, I hade to move 2 of my drives over to a different sata port, and now, my nvme is like only half the speed it should be

Just a thought if you updated your BIOS -
Are you using the M.2_1 socket for your NVMe drive (Near middle of board) or the M.2_2 socket (near bottom of board) ? If you are using M.2_1 have you verified that it's set for PCIe 3.0 x4 and not Sata? Maybe updating the BIOS changed a setting. Though, the default would be Auto - which should be detected as NVMe if you have a NVMe drive inserted.
