Well, it’s been yet another week. *All memory sticks and slots functioning. *Ran Memtest86 with no issues.

I still have t found any solution other than to buy another copy of USB Windows and try that. *

I contacted Asus support three days ago but haven’t heard back. * So I’m stuck with at $2500 paper weight forever. **

I gotta say, I expected a solution here, but apparently *I’m the only guy on planet Earth who can’t load an OS onto a PC. **

Maybe damaged media/file? Did you verify the checksum? You could re-download the installation media: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/soft...d/windows10ISO

Last time I saw this problem it was solved by shutting down system completely, pull power cord and bleed power with start button, remove and reinstall the GPU, power back on, cross your fingers and try again. If that fails try going here and reinstall Windows on USB drive.

Trying to do this without having to buy another copy of Windows. Not sure how I can verify the checksum (or even what that entails) when I don’t have a PC to do it with.*

    1. download and use this tool to download the iso: https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/techno...-download-tool
    2. Download and use rufus to make the usb stick with the iso downloaded from step before

That is all there is to it. Rufus can even set it up for GPT instead of MBR, your choice

There's no point in buying another copy of Windows as long as you have a valid key. The actual installation media are free to download from Microsoft.

Installing without checking the integrity of the software is asking for trouble. It's easy enough to do. Eg. https://www.nextofwindows.com/5-ways...-in-windows-10

I know this is an old post but might be useful to someone out there...

You can download Windows directly from Microsoft's website. You could also download their tool that will create a bootable USB drive to install/repair windows.

Rufus is another good USB tool for creating Windows installation media as well.
You just need the latest Windows 10 ISO image which you can download from Microsoft.
