I said before u need to install every single driver by hand, the AMD installer doesnt' do that work, the Windows Updater will install the Microsoft versions every time u update the system, thats why i said before I dont take any responsability If you miss some and cause BSD on your system, so u can use the compile to avoid any error but... U say it does not work for u, so can u try again with my exe file?

Downloading drivers, any files, from someone's google drive is not necessary in 2019, or ever. No matter how helpful someone is trying to be it's an unsafe practice.

Not looked AT this thread in a while now after having serious issues when I first got this board. I'm scared to reset anything unless my original issue comes back. Which was the constant alternating fan speeds from basic to full speed back to basic like every 2-3 seconds was soo annoying, found out it was down to the crazy volt flucuations that ryzen processors have, jumping up in volts for no reason then back down again and repeat, which in turn caused the fans to temporarily run full speed to accomodate the jump in volts. Has any of this been addressed yet does anyone know, or does act the same?

This isn't really an issue of the motherboard and has more to do with the CPU. Yes, this motherboard compared to others I've used on this platform seems to assign higher voltages to the Ryzen CPUs, but the CPU will request a voltage that it determines necessary, regardless of motherboard choice. To counter the sporadic fan behavior your can either adjust the fan curve so that the fans don't ramp up until CPU temp exceeds ~50°C or so and/or you can undervolt the CPU (which I recommend you do anyways, if you haven't already). Most users, like myself, are stable with a -.1V undervolt which helps tremendously with temps.

Thanks for the response. So is this latest bios ok, or is it troublesome?

I am on bios 4011 currently.

Something weird I just tried now, currently overclock is on Auto and when i cinebench the CPU goes to 4016mhz on all cores and I get a score around 1750.

I just set overclock to level 3 (OC) and all cores on cinebench go to 4090mhz, with a score of 1815, weirdest thing about all this though is my temps have gone down by 5-10c, but my performance has gone up?

Performance Enhancer on Auto on this motherboard tends to assign extremely high voltages. Setting it to Level 3 most likely uses lower core voltages, which is pretty funny. Lower voltages = less heat. I usually run Level 2 but if Level 3 is working great for you (I'm not sure what cooling solution you have) then stick with it!

I'm using an NZXT Kraken X62, so cooling is pretty good. Played OVerwatch for hours last night and temps never went over 57 on the tdie.

As for my other question, will I see any improvements regarding performance, temperatures etc going from 4011 bios to the latest one?

    Hey guys!

i need some help - can't find whats wrong with my system.

    -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLq87N4cOS4

This happens random, system works fine for hours on heavy game load.

    System:

ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming BIOS 4602
AMD RYZEN 2700X ( Precision Boost Override enabled in BIOS )
    16GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz RYZEN READY ( Runs on 2933MHz, system isn't stable with +3000MHz )
    Gigabyte GTX 1080ti OC Gaming
    BeQuiet 850W Straight Power PSU

Orange light should indicate some RAM error, right? But its blinking and the GPU behaviour is really strange?!
    Thanks!
