Sound blaster problem after 5406(1.0.0.4b) bios

Hello. I have Asus x470 gaming-f, Ryzen 5 3600 and Windows 10 x64 1903. After installing 5406 bios(1.0.0.4b) I have sound problems with my creative sound blaster z card. 5.1 surround sound randomly reassigns from speaker to speaker whenever I run any application or game. I also have cracking and poping sound. I rolled back to 5220 bios(1.0.0.3abb) but problem still exist!(I had NEVER problems before with 5220 bios). I also tried to fix it by uninstall / reinstall audio drivers(I tried 2014, 2017 and 2019 drivers from creative), uninstall/ reinstall motherboard chipset drivers, installed 1909 windows update, reinstall 1903.. Nothing fixed the problem. Please help.

    Hello,

Here is my config: Asus X470 Strix (Bios 5406) - Ryzen 3700X - Core Performance Boost disabled.

When I set the value of the Core Ration CPU at 40 (i.e. 4000 Mhz for the CPU), I note that this ratio remains fixed at 40 under Windows even in idle.

Do you know how to find this ratio management according to the load?

The drivers version 19.30.28 2019/12/20 appeared on the site, I compared them with the drivers version 19.10.22 2019/07/31, they are the same! Compared SHA-1 files it is the same!

Not posting consistently, Yellow DRAM LED

Hi guys, I've just built my new PC and chosen this mobo, combined with Corsair Vengence RGB Pro RAM (4*8GB sticks DDR4 3200Mhz C16) and the compatibility is proving to be an absolute nightmare.

I've spent a week troubleshooting the issue of the Computer not always posting, landing on the yellow DRAM LED when it decides not to post. Whether it does post or not is entirely unpredictable, which is weird, and annoying.

I have two reddit threads about it where my full explanation of what I have tried to do to fix it, without much luck, linked here:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/commen...gf_yellow_led/
    https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport...o_and_corsair/

    In summary I've:
    - Reseated the RAM and Power cables + other components on the Mobo besides reseating the CPU.
    - Tried one stick of a RAM at a time (Problem persisted at least once on all four ram sticks
    - Ran mem test on 3 passes with 0 failures
    - Used Ryzen Master Calculator's safe settings, (I entered the XMP correctly as a HTML output from "Thaiphoon" software. These settings caused my computer to just boot loop until safe mode was activated.

    - Finally, WHEN DOCP IS NOT ENABLED, THESE ISSUES DISAPPEAR and the Computer never hangs on the DRAM Yellow Light...
    - Despite this, when the system posts WITH DOCP Enabled (Or manually entered the DOCP timings of the Ram, (16-18-18-18-36) it will eventually post after cycling through power, and once it's in the OS, the Computer is completely stable with no BSODS or anything.

For reference, I am on the latest BIOS Version available, 5406, with updated drivers (Which I have reinstalled).

Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated as I am completely out of ideas, except RMA'ing the RAM and the Motherboard, both of which I don't really have the time to be dealing with.

I recommend you to ask that on a forum with hardware geeks - guru3d.com/techpowerup.com/overclock.net/tomshardware.com.
There are plenty of different voltage settings and I suppose it's just some of them that need an increase, people on the abovementioned forums will tell you what exactly to do.

NEVER ask it on forums where there are mostly gamers, they know NOTHING about hardware, I play a multiplayer game and the majority of players don't even know what's installed in their PC cases, and you ask them for help?

Thanks for your response, I'll give those websites a go. I just figured this was the most centralised place I could receive specific responses for this Motherboard since this is the main culprit of the issue (in my opinion).
