Massive fan fluctuation with decent temps

Anyone experience massive fan fluctuations with this board also?
The random fan spiking is driving me crazy replaced thermal paste twice still same result, essentially I'm running in pwm mode. Temps would randomly Spike very often for a second and go back down to normal and as a result fans would ramp up real loud then back down. Is this normal is there like some fan delay I can add, cant find anything in the bios

Look on your bios for the fan smoothing option, at least it was present on old 4024 last time I checked. gupsterg kindly provided a pic here.

How much delay do you want to add for the smoothing option? My exhaust fans (rear/top) connected to the mobo are roaring up aswell reading cpu temp. I selected the silent curve for both.

Just a heads up, if your computer is recovering from a bug check that happens during Hibernation (I had #41, whatever that means) the fans will go back to being very loud until you do a reboot.

I already had fast startup disabled so the advice given here did not apply to me.

Try disabling "global C-state control" and/or set "Power Supply Idle Control" to "Typical Current Idle"

You can set the motherboard RGB to be On or OFF when shutdown within AURA or the BIOS. There should be a message at the top of the BIOS showing an FX button to toggle, or it is also in the Advanced or Tools section.

Thanks it only happened once for me, do you still think it's worth it go into BIOS and make those two changes or wait to see if it happens again?

It's weird how the computer ignored the fan curve I applied in BIOS and just went to 100% and all the lights lit up during hibernation lol and everything froze though.
