    He tested each 2700x at a different voltage ranging from 1.375v to 1.425, here are the voltages for each 2700x and their temps at each voltage.

    2700x sample 1 - 1.425v, max of 65c while gaming/daily tasks - saw degradation of around 100mhz at the same voltages within 3 months


    2700x sample 2 - 1.4v, max of 60c while gaming/daily tasks - saw degradation in around 3 months and 2 weeks


    2700x sample 3 - 1.385v, still around 60c while gaming/daily tasks, saw degradation in just shy of 4 months


    2700x sample 4 - 1.375v, max of 58c - no degredation after just above 6 months now

    Cinebench R20 Scores, what you getting?

    Running 4602 with VSOC at 1.05 and a slight stable negative offset on core.
    On a 2700x with 3000mhz Ram (DOCP Profile)
    Would be interested in peoples Cinebench R20 scores.
    PBO is on by default in this version of the BIOS so left it on AUTO to do its goodness
    Everything else is stock
    TDIE hits 82 on a Noctua DH15 with 2 fans

    Getting 4070 in Cinebench R20.

    Now that is interesting because I have to my left a 2700x running on a MSI X470 Gaming Pro. PBO is off on that BIOS revision (it has been removed)
    RAM on other machine is at 3200 DOCP but all else at stock
    I run that on a 280mm RAD with an AIO
    Temps hit 71 TDIE and
    My cinebench R20 is 3941

    Anyone know why when I go to grab the latest drivers nothing shows up on the downloads page?

    The behaves weirdly with different browsers. Try another browser and you'll usually find that the Drivers and Software page loads but not the BIOS download page. Web Dev stuff sometimes sucks.

    So this means CPU temps should be kept under 60C to keep degradation away?

    That's an over-simplification, please read the corresponding threads to draw your conclusions.

    For what I understand It's mostly about having a constant high voltage/clock on all cores without xfr/pbo, or energy saving features active a under manual OC -- before temperature alone comes current. PBO + negative offset with scalar 10X should sit bellow that "critical" voltage under all-core max load, while spikes above it are time limited.

    Heat doesn't help but 60°C is nowhere near the unsafe temperature for these CPUs. It's more about voltage. That's why I tend to favor PBO on these chips over traditional overclocking. The CPU can dial itself all the way down to something like ~.7V when idling.

    With C6 still enabled and a power profile with core parking it's even possible to rest cores for short intervals with a manual OC, but they'll just show their last clock/voltage in software monitoring. The same applies with xfr+cnq+c6, sometimes a core that shows 0,7V might be drawing even lower because it's intermittently sleeping (iirc ~0,2V?).

    Makes me wonder if Performance Lvl 3/4 would cause degradation

    Just with lvl 2 i get between 1.34v and 1.4v while playing games and it's not just the ocational spike to 1.4 and this is with an offset of -0.09v. It's a different story while under load with tests like cinebench, there my max voltage drops to 1.337v
