According to lastest Intel Microcode that address Spectre Variant 2 CVE-2017-5715/5753. Look like Intel internally publish its new microcode for address
Spectre Variant 3a CVE 2018-3639 and Spectre Variant 4 CVE-2018-3640 already with 0x2000049 microcode.

Maybe Intel will sending next microcode update to Microsoft before motherboard manufactures.

I also installed that version of redstone 6 and the same microcode, 2000049
I wonder how would it go in the other versions of windows 10?
how can it be extracted?

Honestly, I'm surprised at those still chasing their own tail with these incremental patches. These issues have been left open for years, decades even. They are going to take years to address. Best to take them as they come and not lose sleep over it.

I'm dealing with rendering and video conversion, I'm not so connoisseur, but I'm interested in my i9 7980 system and processor running the best!
Do you think older microcodes are better?

At this time I use 0200004D microcode for Windows 10 * 2019 * Build 18204.1001 ( Red Stone 6 ) . Performance better than 02000049 microcode. 😮

0200004D Date 2018-05-15 buddy, It was officially recommended by intel lastest guidance against SA-00115 vulnerable (AKA CVE 2018-3639/3640 Spectre Variant 3a/4 if you want to try I’d already modded 1401 BIOS with 0200004D Microcode and Intel EFI/SATA OROM
16.5.0.3492 . See also 1401 BIOS quote on this forum.)*
