hello,

I have a asus zx50wv and I bought a M.2 (2280) PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe.
I installed it but i cant see it in bios or windows.
When I bought it i didint know that there were PICe M.2 and sata M.2. So do i need sata M.2 to work with my zx50wv.

Thanks in advance.

Have passed a lot of time since you asked but, in case you still haven't figure that out the thing is:

m.2 is a factor that establish dimension and type of connection.

This factor is then used by either SATA and PCIe.

Your notebook has a SATA connector, then using it with a PCIe disk will not work.

PCIe disk requires a PCIe bus to work with, and SATA is another type of bus.

That's why it doesn't appear in the system.
