i really need info about this...
    Yes.

It seems the slower sata speed and processor I/O intensive slowdown came with the Bios Version 0805
"Intel New ME Update, Improve Stability." update.

That 0805 Bios contains the latest Intel Firmware updated Microcode what is addressed the Spectre and Meltdown bugs BUT that "fixes" effects on processor I/O intensive benchmarks and in compute-intensive workloads such as video encoding and this is why the SSD speed specially the 4kiBQ32T1 read/write performance suffers also.

Was it not new firmware 1002. I believe 800 was replaced with 1002.

Wait, is there an actual difference between 0809 and 1002? Seems weird that you flat out can't download 0809 (officially on asus support). Still no crashes since updating to 0809 (5.0ghz 8700k 1.35v ~a week, fortnite pubg LoL)

I have the same concern..they also have the same change logs. I really hope they put more effort on explaining the updates. Just what Microsoft does when they release monthly updates.

My 0809 was rather unstable, 1002 is fine so from my perspective there's a difference.

Can any one confirm , I am seeing a dowgrade in performance for my corsair FORCE GS red ssd write speed came down to 210MB/s

I know the Nvme m.2 shares sata speed. But i do have Intel ssd which runs fine at 510MB/s Read and 495MB/s write.

But this ssd which i was using for quite long is reading at 500+MB/s but writting max of 190-210MB/s

Was it dying or it is due to M.2 slot consuming bandwidth. I thought nvme is consuming bandwidth. As i was initially doing crystal benchmark on both nvme and ssd at same time. But after i tried seperately and 3+ time still write speed is very bad in my corsair force GS
