It solved several issues for me - ASUS Xonar DGX PCI-E detection and being able to flash custom UBU-generated BIOS. However, I still can't update MEI firmware to the latest version - the updating utility does not detect platform...

I dont think the bios update program has ever offered a new update since I have had the board. I always end up finding out that there is a new bios on here, then check for updates and it says no updated needed.

Not sure what is up with that

    Anyways, thanks for posting guys!

That's what I thought but the new bios has been up on their site for a couple days. I was told that the sites get updated gradually. I am in the U.S. and downloaded the new bios yesterday. There are some links to the new bios on page one.

What bios update program are you referring too? Not that one that came on the CD with your board. If so then you will never get notified because it is worthless. I tried it for awhile and either didn't ever show an update or continued to try to update a driver I already had. Finally uninstalled it after getting no help from Asus. I just periodically check the official website or check here.

    Hello all.

This morning, I grabbed 1503 from the link on the first page, put the .CAP in my dump drive, and then updated through the EZ Flash within the BIOS.
Everything updated fine, no weirdness or any abnormalities, and set up my system options and enabled XMP.

Played some games, ran a few benchmarks, and ran a few reboots from restart and shutdown to check for any boot behavior.

So far, everything is working as expected, and am having no instability or issues.

I should note that I'm not currently overclocking anything outside of enabling XMP, so as always, your mileage may vary.

Hopefully this version is smooth for the rest of you.

    Take care.
In dreams, I walk with you.
