Has anyone figured out how to get the voltage control tool to work correctly? It looks like I can only go up to 1.100V (versus 1.200V) and I do not see a way to lock it there like I can with Afterburner. My voltage is showing 1.025V instead of the 1.100V max selected. I will need to do both for my benching if I am going to use this tool. I'm guessing (hoping) there is a way to do it and I have not found it yet. The 1.100V limit is probably going to be an issue though with +2200MHz core clocks. I cannot use EVGA Precision XOC for that same reason. Voltage limit is too low to be useful.

    Hello mr_fox_rox

You have a very good overclocking Strix 1080 Ti !

1.093v is the max voltage for pascal.

2150MHz is the highest I've seen any pascal gpu clocked.

GPU Tweak II does not have the lock clock feature, I requested it in the survey.

Get what you can with 1.093v and call it a day.

Thanks, bro. I appreciate the compliment. Since you already mentioned it in the survey they should know that is an important must-have for this tool to be a success for overclockers. They also need to up the voltage range to 1.200V. Maybe I will mention it as well so they know it is not an isolated wish.

This GPU is actually a hardware modded EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 with an ASUS Strix XOC vBIOS that allows me to apply up to 1.200V and lock it down there, with no PerfCap reasons like VRel or Pwr. This tool won't work for me because it doesn't let me run the GPU the way I can with MSI Afterburner.

Here are some examples from a recent benching session. Running the GPU core locked at 2200, memory at 12000 and voltage locked at 1.200V. Pulling about 700W from the GPU. So, I will have to stick with MSI Afterburner if I want to continue getting the benchmark scores I am shooting for.

Well, I guess the above post will be my feedback. It seems the survey is now closed.

The form ASUS GPU Tweak II Beta Testing Program - Feedback Survey is no longer accepting responses.

    Holy smokes man !

    A 1080 Ti at 2200MHz and an 8700k at 5.50GHz with 1.488v ?

That is totally awesome, your pc is the best clocking pc I've seen, at least with your hardware.

WOW, nothing more to say except Amazing !

Thanks. It's a lot of fun benching it. With the silicon lottery taking no prisoners, a certain element is luck of the draw. This is my third 8700K. The first one had issues and was a piece of junk, the second 8700K (now in my Clevo P870DM-G laptop) is a normal poorly binned sample. The third one was a winner. I am hoping I get lucky in the lottery on my first try with an i9-9900K for this board once Intel releases the new chip.

There's a quite nasty bug in GPU Tweak beta version:
When Gpu tweak is on and I let windows put screen to sleep/off (or lock windows) and activating screen again after a while, quite often microsoft store applications and also Office applications stops to respond and when trying to e.g. open windows email (store application), it opens to empty screen. I need to try to open the application multiple times before it opens.
When I close Gpu tweak, everything works fine.
First I thought that Corsair ICue with gpu tweak is the issue but same happens when icue is off. When Both GPUI tweak and Icue are open, issue is even worse and happens every single time after screen being in sleep or windows being locked(and screen in sleep/off).
When issue happens when opening email, This can be seen in Windows event viewer: The program HxOutlook.exe version XXXXXXX stopped interacting with Windows and was closed.

Looks like I might've missed the survey window... The main thing I would like to see is ridding of this:

Hysteresis for X degrees and YYYY milliseconds update period in a custom fan curve would really be useful.

Hope its okay to post this here, instead of starting a new thread.

When my 1080 is at around 55c and the silent fan is on, it tends to turn the fans on/off/on/off all the time. Its not always at this temp ofcours, but sometimes it stays around 55c and thats when this happends.
I dont know how good this would work in practice, but what if we where able to set the the temp for when the fan should turn off?

Like turn on fan at 55c, and keep it running until it drops to 50c (or specified temp), then turn it off. The cooler is so effective that it only needs the fan on for a few seconds
and it dips under 55c. But being able to have a longer running time would atleast prevent the fan from starting/stopping this often.

    Just my 2 cents.. :-)

    Regards
    Fredrik

No plans to allow shutoff temp control yet, at least for anything current and upcoming. It’s something that has been considered, but also needs to be handled properly. Need to get a lot of other stuff sorted before we get to something like this.
