cool i heard noctua is cool. But i dont want to put the 1+kg load in board. I agree it can handle. But i am wondering on the 150i makes any different even 5+ degree is cool to have and if i can oc to 4.8ghz is suffice.

But when i set manual sync all core it will do 4.8ghz on all cores. Which is not advisable? As one said only 1 core it will hit 5ghz . rest all? Does the 5gzh oc profile in board only oc to one core and rest stay between 3.7ghz to max 4.3ghz or 4.7 gh?

To your Question about upgrading to a 150i:
Steve from Gamers Nexus did test this. I could give you the numbers to the decimal degree celcius but out of respect i shall refrain from it. You have now more hints than i did researching this. Kindly find his article/video through the interwebs.

I can't answer the second quetsion since i always play around manually with my stuff.

    Regards

I am not trying to prove any one wrong here. I am asking even for 4.3ghz the temps are bad when aid64 is ran.

Which is not normal. I am not asking here complete oc to core. Just wanted to make sure temps sits below 80 degree under load.

No, there isn´t any difference in thermal behavior between 8700K and 8086K because they have the same TIM under their heatspreaders.

Same Tim so no, the only difference is a possibility to run at lower volts on Overclocking (better binning) which does improve thermals.

I did some research and found this motherboard or most of the asus boards are power hungers and attracts to peak temperatures

Which obviously says no matter which cooler u use but the temps are 30-40% higher to its rivals.

OC: out of all the rivals mobos, E gaming mobo has 0 chances to achieve 5ghz oc <= 1.3V... If u dont restrict its voltage then it can achieve to 5ghz else no way

These r the two major cons for this mobo

You could also try achieving the single core turbo (4.7 GHz) at the lowest possible vcore. If you have a good chip you might go below 1.2V. Ím running 1.184V for example (prime 29.4 stable , so avx and fma3). This way, you will improve performamce AND thermals.

My cooler : Antec kuhler h2o k240 (Budget beast)

Im having the same motherboard and 8700k. Tested bunch of games with igpu and my temps are 55c stable at any game with turbo boosted 4.4ghz at 1.24V

While turning off the Turbo boost (3.7ghz) the volatage is stayin at 1.1V avg and the temperature is at 50c

Keeping turbo boost on at max 4.4ghz and choosing Max Power Saving Mode in AI Tweaker is also giving temps at 51c
