System Agent Voltage

Is it OK using a system agent voltage at 1.000 together with a VCCIO voltage set at 0.976?
I have set them manually since auto would set them up to +1.300.

My CPU is a 8700K running 5.1 GHz @ 1.340 v.

If the system is stable at those settings then yes, there isn't an issue.

Ok, thanks... I was worried maybe if I had set them too low 😮
The system has been running great, so far... Haven't really done a stress test yet,
just some gaming and it runs smooth. Will do a real stress today with AIDA64.

By the way, this will maybe sound stupid, but I am not really familiar with System Agent Voltage and VCCIO earlier.
What kind of symptoms are there if you should raise these voltages?

If raised too high: failed bios overclock, windows lock up or possibly a blue screen.

Ok, now I was thinking if the voltages for VCCIO and System Agent were too low... (not too high). What would be the symptoms?

Hi Rippin Kittin

If VCCIO and System Agent voltages are too low, you'll likely have unstable ram.

Ah, ok.. that's good to know.
Thanks!
