I don't think you are doing it right, Windows 7 is no longer supported, it is dangerous now.

You might as well install rabbit ears on your new Smart TV as well. Just as effective.
W7 is not supported; you should do yourself a favor based on security alone. That would be smart. But compatibility with software is the biggest issue you will face in the upcoming months and years if you insist on antiquated software.Davemon50

I have W7 and IE11 on my computer at work, because they haven't updated most machines corporately yet. It's problematic and now certain required software for my business doesn't run properly any more. The problem will not get better.
