g703gi " ips-level" 144mhz g sync is a real ips monitor?
hi everybody, i have g751jl but i want to upgrade my laptop to the G703GI-XS74, the only problem i see is the monitor, on my g751jl i have a real ips panel and i love the colors on them specially when i play my video games, i read that the g703gi has a 144mhz g sync ips-level, so what that means? is a real ips monitor or a tn trying to look like a ips?

Maybe I can redo your kindness from my post and help you out.
I've found an excellent in depth review of the G703GI, where they stated that this was the Panel used in it:
AUO B173HAN03.2
In the specs-tab it says that it uses an AHVA panel, which is kind of AUOs IPS pendant iirc.
Hope that helps

I had the G752VY before the G703 and was very weary about the display of the G703 not holding up to the G752. The two are very comparable. Being that it was one of the first 144Hz screens for a laptop, I think they went with a good quality unit. I've been pleased with it so far.
If anything there may be a slight difference in brightness, going to the G752 by a very slight margin of being brighter. I use the G703 daily and it hasnt made me dislike or regret the purchase though. They are very close to the same.
(ROG has simply become too expensive compared to the competition with same specs...)
