New to the whole PC thing and I've just completed my build. My question is, is it ok to connect a fan to the water pump header? The reason my cpu cooler fan is not connected to the water pump header is strictly for aesthetics because the wire was going to stretch across the mobo and I didn't seem to have any other way to route it.

I notice in the BIOS that you can't adjust the water pump fan, it seems to be on at full speed while the other headers show that I can adjust the speed.

Should I be connecting the cpu cooler fan to the water pump header or does it matter?
