Where does Asus pick up chipset drivers for z370 chipset? Intel has not released new chipset drivers since 1/17 -2017. So these "new" drivers are not official. I am not going to install not official driver on my PC. Never!

These are often OEM specific, meaning they could potentially work better than the ones available on Intels website.
Also, the "Chipset" driver from Intel is just a list of product names. It used to have USB3.0 drivers built-in in the past, IIRC. But not anymore.

You should instead make sure you got the latest Bios, the OEM specific Management Engine Driver and SATA driver.

I'm having the Sonic Studio problem too. I uninstalled before installing. I tried uninstalling Sonic Radar and installing via UWP\SonicRadar3_UWP_3.12.0.0, but dism seems to be exiting with error 103 unspecified error. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing again, but that didn't work either. Nothing in event logs as far as I can tell. Any other suggestions?

Nevermind. I just uninstalled the new one and went back to the prior and things work fine. I'll check back to see if there's an updated version or fix down the road, but I'm not messing with it more.

The "Intel Chipset Software" as it is commonly called is not an actual chipset driver, but an inf file that is used by the system to name all the system devices in Device Manager>System Devices, by their correct name going by their hardware device ID. Otherwise Microsoft installs microsoft drivers through a Windows Update over OEM or proper Intel Device drivers. For example in my Maximus X Hero one device in System Devices in Device Manager with a device ID "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A290&CC_0604" is an "Intel(r) PCI Express Root Port #1 - A290" just to mention one device, and the latter device's name was given to it by the "Intel Chipset Software" inf file update, and not any Chipset Driver or an update of it.

    Did this help?

Same thing happens to me. The new LAN driver doesn't seem to actually do anything.

Get the latest ones from here (Intel Directly) Ver 23.2 just select your OS and download, run the .exe (PROWinx64.exe) for 64-bit or (PROWin32.exe) for 32-bit

That's rubbish......Please provide some more info how you know that OEM drivers are better than official drivers. Where do you get your "knowledge" from and what is your source. I have never read such rubbish before. YOU SHOULD NEVER INSTALL UNOFIFICIAL DRIVERS ON YOUR COMPUTER. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG YOU CAN NOT BLAME INTEL. THIS GUY IS RUBBISH!
