ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VII Going to sleep issues...

ITAngel

Hi everyone, I am having issues with this motherboard because it forces the system to go to sleep. I found that everytime the system went to sleep some how the system was changing the power plans from Performance to Power Saver. After messing around with it each time I decided to delete all power plans and leave only the Ryzen Balance one which is also set to no sleep. However; it is not letting it stay up after a couple of hours of no use the system force it self back to sleep. I am not sure what to do here since i also updated to the latest release bios on this motherboard. Reset all the settings I can think of. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I disable the sleep part not the monitor part which can try doing that but not sure if that will help or not. Did that make it so that the system never got to sleep? I went in and modified the power plan from ryzen to turn off anything that could put the system to sleep or not. I want to manually control that instead of the system doing that.

Yeah, I'd let windows handle sleep and see how it goes from there.

Click the drop down beside Never to set the sleep time and give it a test.

Nope it didn't work still put the pc to sleep. Seriously I never had a mother board do that but VI and VII does it. The first one I figure out a way to make it stop doing that which was good but the second one I am yet to stop it from doing that.

Same thing happens to me.
I have set power plan to 1 hour but system goes to sleep after 20 minutes if I do not touch anything.

Asus Crosshair VIII
Ryzen 3900x

I can not figure it out what is the issue.
