Hello I won't to make an bios update
I have the model G752VSK-GC493T with the 7700HQ and 1070 8GB
In the Asus ROG Drivers site have 3 models
First option G752VS OC Edition ok I don't have this model
Second option G752VS (Intel 7th gen)
Third G752VS

In second option G752VS (Intel 7th gen) if I click on specifications
Have only one model with 7700HQ and a Bios version 304 on first look this is my model
https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-G752VS-7th-Gen-Intel-Core/?_ga=2.71144912.1392180345.1533579242-155... model here

Specs here

And drivers here
https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-G752VS-7th-Gen-Intel-Core/HelpDesk_Download/

But...

On the third option we have just a G752 on the site and in specifications they don't have my cousin's they only have
i7 6820HK and
i7 6700HQ
And in driver page there is a option for G752vs and G752vsk to choose and a Bios version 302 (now I get confused)

Model here

so wich one i ise 302 or 304
the model i have is G752VSK-GC493T i7 7700HQ cpu 1070 GTX 8GB
by searching on the asus rof driver site adding the model VSK is give me the 302 bios put in specs have the chipset CM236 and tells that VSK moels use
Intel® Core™ i7 6820HK Processor,
Intel® Core™ i7 6700HQ Processor,

also from WINFLASh i have this messege

winflash update bios give this option

i think Asus have make a confusion in this

I have the G752VSK OC model with the 302 bios. (238 chipset, 7820HK)

You have the G752VS with (7th Gen CPU), therefore you should be using the 304 bios. (238 chipset, 7700HQ)

I agree, it is confusing.

Here is what you do, Download the latest BIOS From Asus Support Download you need to register your notebook and then you will get the exactly correct driver update etc for your notebook.

Uninstall Asus upgrade tool, winflash has bricked so many notebooks over the year it's just not safe to use. you don't need it for anything go get your own drivers for your specific notebook, or pay the price.

The ASUS support page having my registered G752VSK OC Edition laptop offers two models, G752VS and G752VSK. The bios for the G752VS is 310 while the bios of the G752VSK is 302. The poster, Oktanio has a very good point. Your option, using registered device page is still a crap shoot in this case.

Oktanio's laptop is another animal all together, it's a G752VSK but not the OC Edition and has the 304 bios.

I agree, WinFlash sucks, but in this case it at least identifies his installed bios (304) and refuses to install bios (302). What's truly BAD is that WinFlash doesn't recognize the 302 bios is not even for his laptop (238 chipset and 7700HQ CPU).

This is a major ASUS support screwup. ASUS should develop three different support pages for the three different G752VS models (two of which are labeled G752VSK).

Like I said register your notebook the serial number will determine what BIOS is correct. You can install Hwinfo64 the detail will show you what model you have and what bios you're running.

Confused as to what ASUS laptop you have? Download Belarc Advisor. It's a free download and will correctly identify what model you have and what bios is currently installed. This program will provide a wealth of information about your system. However, I don't know if there is a Greek language version. Download Belarc and try it.
