Seems like a lot of errors caused by a simple bios update...did u clear the bios?...take out battery ?.....Have you tried a different bios version...I know the ME firmware won't roll back...but...worth a try...since system was working at one time...Its possible that the new ME firmware is causing some bugs...dunno for sure...dunno if the ME firmware has changed something in the XMP / SPD to make once working ram not to be compatible anymore with board...dunno if u can try disabling as may USB devices...stick to basic keyboard and mouse....uninstall Aura if installed...I know there was a time that u had to enabled Writes in timing control to get the rgb to work with the GSkill rgb

Check in your power option and disable usb suspend setting, then in your device manager make sure power management is not checked, same for your wifi and blutooth.Do you actually use edge? And If all fail maybe try clean install if its not to troublesome.

Ram is already in A2/B2. Should i try the opposite ram slots then. If bent pins for the cpu socket, why the problem now? and not before on way earlier bios?
Bent pins can most certainly cause really odd behavior, malfunction and instability, but if you have not disturbed anything in terms of hardware it is unlikely. Unless you removed your heat sink/waterblock and/or CPU out of its socket there would be no reason to suspect bent pins if it was working fine before flashing 1602.

I was getting this problem with bios 1401 also so was hoping this bios would fix this... sorry for not mentioning this earlier. I also have tried to roll back bios to the 1101 bios and was still having the problem. again sorry for not mentioning this. I have not removed my water block at all after inital build. I do not use Edge. The only thing i used Edge for was to download Chrome. I have tried to do the reset feature in windows 10, i know its not considered a clean install but i had thought it was worth a try.

Bro...I'd almost suggest doing a fresh install of Windows...load all drivers and ..for the moment...just use the keyboard and mouse ....no other usb devices....see if that eliminate the freezing....

Keep us posted. Hope it goes well.

Interesting observation. I have seen drive (SSD and HDD) defects cause some pretty weird issues. I have seen drives malfunction and fail without any SMART errors as well. If you continue having problems during or after the clean install, you may want to try disconnecting all drives except the one with the OS and see if the behavior changes. If it does not, clone the OS drive to another one and then remove it for temporary testing to confirm the OS drive isn't creating some misbehavior.

It could also be something buggy with the Intel ME. The ME has way more control over things than it ought to have, and the use/implementation of it is overzealous if not excessive and unnecessary. The Intel ME interacts with numerous things such as CPU, GPU, RAM, PCIe, audio chipset and storage. We got by just fine without it for years and would be better off without it. It's there mainly to give control freaks more control.

So i did the clean install of windows and all drivers for graphics and motherboard. So far so good, not freezing anymore and not a problem with anything. All drives seem to be fine also and aura is recognizing that there is a motherboard that it can control the rgb on lol.

I want to thank all of you for all your help in troubleshooting my problem.
