I'm a total n00b at PC building so please excuse this stupid question.

I have a ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E
I am struggling with getting my Samsung 970 EVO NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD to show.

I currently am running windows 10 on a WD Blue 250GB PC SSD - SATA 6 Gb/s M.2 2280 which I have plugged into my m.2_1 socket.

But when I plug my Samsung 970 EVO NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD into the m.2_2 socket it wont show up in windows.

I'm pretty sure I have it plugged in and screwed down correctly, am I missing some type of step?
