There is an option in the ASUS Maximus Bios (I think under secure boot) that says type of OS. It defaulted to Other OS. The other option is Windows. What does this actually control? It doesn't seem to be effecting my current windows setup.

this is confusing for me too. It looks like IF your in M.2 PCIE boot, AND you have the security keys then this setting prevents pre-boot *malware ??

I can not get to the ‘secure boot’ when setting to other OS to turn it off.
