    Hi,

Here is a small graph that I quickly made from data from the TPU database :

If we ignore RTX, and look at the perf only, we can see that there is only the 2080 Ti that is more powerful than the 1080 Ti, while when Pascal came out, the 1070 was more powerful than the 980 Ti.

Probably best to wait and look at real-world performance before drawing any conclusions.

    Looking at the die shot

If the SMs are the same as Pascal then the full chip has 36...for a total of 4608 so a Titan may be down the line...
Doesn't the Quadro 8000 list 4608 cuda cores?

    2080Ti has 34 x 128 = 4352

Look forward to real world OC results etc.

If they are like pascal SM's results should be similar?

In fact if you divide 11340 from MoKiChU's graph by 28 SMs for Pascal 1080Ti and then multiply for 34 SM's for Turing 2080Ti you get 13770...pretty close

EDIT: OK so 64 cores per sm not 128 but more or less... https://videocardz.com/77696/exclusive-nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-editors-day-leaks

I'd just get 2080ti and skip the 2080 entirely

RTX Founders Edition is Nicest Dual cooler Graphic card ever launched.
But ASUS 2080 Ti Turbo is great.

Bad because I never had chance to buy so expansive graphic cards.

As far as performance goes I agree with Scone, have to wait unless you happen to have one, which I don't and even then max boost clocks have not been reported even on the ones for preorder on most manufacturers cards if not all, or how high it clocks when OC'd. Any drivers are probably not ironed out completely, new versions of OC software from vendors, etc.

Preorder prices were kind of steep, wondering if the price changes when cards are released, or will there be any real stock availability for awhile. I imagine stock will remain slim for some time, I believe that's how it's been before
