New Microcode KB4100347 | Are we expecting a bios update?

Dam microsoft with their microcode updates, had problems with the latest, if I left my PC for too long it would hang, only a hard reset would work, also noticed some programs are now taking longer to load, I then re-installed windows, same thing, then reinstalled it again and now it seems fine but still slower than before. Wondering if we need a bios update that seems to compliment each ms microcode update, currently using bios 1602 for the Rog Maximus Formula X, CPU I7 8700K.
Anyone else having problems with this latest ms update?

I'm not having any issues with my 8700K and Z370-F with the microcode update. I do have the latest BIOS update available installed.

Windows KB410037 has the old microcode of 84. The latest code for the i7 8700K is 96. This is KB4346084 available from Windows catalogue.
