Problem with Water Temperature Sensor

So, i've bought an Asus Rampage VI Extreme mainly for the water cooling features. I built my closed loop and went to configure it. But i didn't know that the WC features are non-existant. You can't config anything under BIOS, no shutdown if flow sensor fails, no fan config based on WC... You must use AI Suite.

My main problem is that if i set a fan curve, i can't choose the temperature sensor as a source, even though the water sensor is working and being detected.

What is going on? how should i control the fan curve by the sensor?

Thanks

Note sure about fan curves but you can use AIDA64 for sensor monitoring and have it sound an alarm and shut the machine down if the flow rate drops to a prescribed value. Been using that feature for years with no issues.

If i could, i would rather control everything on BIOS and not on any extra software. But thanks for the tip anyway. My biggest issue now is the water temp sensor
