I have been mining with Microsoft's free bitcoin miner for over 5 days now.I have seen it do average 187.00 kh/s to 211 kh/s and was wondering is it is okay to do for first few months and then stop afterwards to devote the rest to video editing and gaming.

Is it safe to use for a few months from fresh start?and then to stop and switch to a different pc later on?
