Hi,

I own a Asus ROG GL503VM and i was wondering if I can use that M.2 SSD.
Does my laptop support a 1TB M.2 SATA SSD? Does the SSD fit in the laptop?

Yes, you can!

Yes, it support 1TB!

Yes, it will!

But i think better idea is to put NVME nor SATA to gain most of m.2 PCIe performance.

WD Blue is fine, but it's SATA.

NVMe is kinda expensive and from what i've seen the difference between NVMe and SATA is visible on copying large files, while boot time and game load time are almost the same.
And since this laptop has only a 5400RPM SSHD, 1TB SSD seems a good idea, right?

One more question, will the SSD reach high temperatures or the overheat isn't a thing for SATA ones?
